People often ask me where does the design begin? For me, I love my visuals. In the concept pictured, I started with 4 nature photos representing colors and textures I wanted to use in this design. Along with that, I will pull reference photos of similar elements in other home designs so a client can visualize the direction and the possibilities of what we can achieve for their home.
With each stage of the design process, I use visuals to demonstrate the concept coming together. This photo is an example of combining the floorplan drawing with samples of the design materials selected as it pertains to the particular areas of the house. My goal is to excite you about the design until the final reveal.
This particular floor is the top level of the house that has been reconfigured to fit a new master with ensuite, and 2 children's bedrooms with a shared bathroom.
