I took a break from the blog for a while, not because I have not been busy, but because I like to stay true to myself. Sometimes life bogs down our creativity, clouds our minds with political despair. Hits our hearts with tragedy. The trick is to turn this around and put it into creative expression. The importance of design is to represent an extension of you, your place in the world, the journey you have taken to get where you are. I am being motivated by the colors and textures of nature, how can this inspire textures, colors, and designs in fabric, furniture, and finishes.
